Son of Neptune - Heroes of Olympus
Son Of Neptune - Heroes of Olympus
Prompt: Decide the Major Conflict - Which Side are you on?
Prompt:
I seriously think that this is a no-brainer. Either you like the bad guys, which shouldn't be possible since siding with the bad guys would mean the destruction of you, the world, and everyone you care about and that is something no one should want. If you do want that, I know you're lying, don't even try to be funny, just admit it, you don't want that to happen. I hate liars... So it's unanimous! You're siding with the heroes of olympus! I should have told you the choices first. There is Gaea, the Greek elder god. before Zeus, before Kronos, there were two elder gods. One of them is Gaea, and I honestly forgot the other... Sorry. Gaea convinced Kronos to kill the other Elder god and she, in that story, became evil. Now she's back and creating her own army to destroy the modern gods. Now the other side are the Heroes of Olympus which are the heroes both from the Greek Camp and the Roman camp. Now there trying to save the entire world from Gaea. That's the side that you're already on since you don't want the world and everyone you care about to be destroyed.
So in the Son of Neptune, the Son of Neptune shows up! I was so surprised! (<-- Sarcasm) I kind of predicted this would happen. Jason, originally from the Roman camp, went to the Greek camp, and the opposite of that was Percy, originally from the Greek camp, going to the roman camp! Which is what this story is basically about. In the Roman camp he meets two amazing, awesome people. A kid named Frank who has an amazing power, but a very big weakness, and Hazel, who's the daughter of Hades! FUN!
Here, they go on a quest to free the god of Death because nobody seems to be dying! Stabbing someone in the back doesn't have any effect, except a TINY bit of pain, TINY bit of pain. (<-- Sarcasm) So they go on a quest to free Thanatos, while doing that Frank finds out what his powers can do, he can turn into a snake, a badger, an elephant, a lion, etc. Oh yeah, he can also turn into a dragon... No biggy, a giant fire-breathing dragon isn't overpowered at all. (Sarcasm) Also, Percy is awesome, like every other book he's been in. Despite being the Son of Poseidon/Neptune, he's the most powerful Olympian, every single person in the book says so, so why not agree?

The first thing I wanted to ask was which book number is this in the series? I like how you providing your true opinion by mentioning that you hate liars which I also do hate. I remember about Gaea kind of reminds me of the Greek god Morpheus the god of dreams. You make your blogs very funny which makes the reader want to read it. I bet you get 100 page views every hour. Great Blog Post.
ReplyDeleteGood blog. I like how you were sarcastic at the beginning about anyone who side with the bad guys. I've read the Percy Jackson series. Is this like that series? I've seen you reading this series a lot.
ReplyDeleteI love how you're almost comparing this to a game, at least in my eyes. I think of Frank as a better Beast Boy from Teen Titan. I liked that you were honest, that you predicted most of it. But maybe it's because you're making this blog a while after you finished the second book.
ReplyDeleteI like how in the beginning you said your either on one side or the other. You got straight to the point
ReplyDeleteGreat blog this week! I really liked how you wrote it like you were talking, it made it more entertaining to read. How are you enjoying this book? I heard the series was great, is it true?
