I think that I've done pretty well with reading these first few months. Finished 8 books in 3 months, that's a new record for me. I've also finished 3 books in 2 days, that's pretty impressive. My eyes felt horrible, but you must admit, that is pretty impressive! I was also kind surprised myself at how interesting books could actually be. You guys are probably like, "Oh... You barely found out? You're like, a thousand years late on this." In have an excuse. Paper, is usually on the enemy side when you're the one holding the pen. Only, when you're forced to write about something you don't really feel like writing about. Free writing or creative writing is a different story though. That, I enjoy.
About first quarter in a whole, I don't feel as motivated as I did in like 6th or 7th grade. It kind of goes like this,
Monday
"Oh, It's only Monday. I still have the entire week to do it! You're not gonna give me stress today Blogger!" I just read today.
Tuesday
I don't even think about blogger on Tuesday, well, unless someone reminds me of it, I don't do a thing. I forget.
Wednesday
"I have an excuse! I have swimming practice today!" Yeah, but dude, you still have about an hour to do your homework... I still read today though.
Thursday - 3:30pm
"Blogger... Too much work." Then I do the other classes homework that I also procrastinate on.
5:00pm
"Okay, break time!"
6:00pm
*Sings along to the opening music on "Attack on Titan"*
"Ya o tsugae oikakeru, yatsu wa nigasanai" (It's in romaji)
7:00pm
*Checks time*... *GASP*
8:00pm
"I could finish. I got this." Some weeks end pretty well, some don't.
That doesn't always happen. I do some earlier on in some weeks. But that's like, just one time in a month or something. But that's just how it usually works.
This only just gave me a realization. I'm a horrible person! I procrastinate way too much. I regret it, and I don't think that, that's a bad thing. Regret means that you understand that you've done something wrong. Now the only thing left to do is to change that, right? I'm going to do everything early, well, as soon as possible. I'm going to stop procrastinating and I'm not going to give out excuses. Actually, work during classes and not just at home this time. I'm going to use everything you throw at me to my advantage! Even if it's a book!
