The Heroes of Olympus - The Lost Hero

Pages Read: 484 - 553
Prompt: Is what you're reading believable, why or why not?

I'm just going straight forward onto the prompt today. Is what you're reading believable? That's a pretty bad question because you can't be 100% sure that something isn't true or if something is fake. There's always that, "What if." in the equation. You might think that I'm real but, as an example, what if I'm just implanted in your mind by some chip. Everything that made you, well, you can be fake. Everybody around you can just be an NPC while you're the only one that has a conscience. Nothing can be 100%, again, there' always that what if.

Speaking in general thoughts though. No friggin way. That can't be real, "By gods! A woman that is able to turn you into stone and is somehow not known publicly is alive!" No, that's impossible. We have specific evidence called SCIENCE that goes against the, "Will of the gods." Zeus, lord of lightning and the skies, which would mean that he controls the rain. Zeus, meet my friends Condensation, Precipitation and Evaporation.

Excluding my prompt, now we actually get to the good parts. The book. There have been a lot of things that happened and I like those kinds of books, books that don't make you read 20 pages, while those pages don't even matter to the actual plot. Everything in that book matters, that's what's good about those types of books. Everything will change something and the thing that destroys me the most about this book is that, Festus died. The mechanical fire-breathing dragon died.

You might be thinking, "Its mechanical, it wasn't alive in the first place. You nerd!" Well describe what being alive means. To me, it's having memories, having feelings, caring for someone, and having people care for you. Festus had those things and especially the last one. The trio mourned for Festus, they were aware of it's existence, the memories the Festus had, they're gone now, the proof that he was once alive, are still in other's memories. Bye-bye Festus. Love ya buddy.

  1. I like your blog this week. it was great. I get that it might not be believable but you're reading a book about mythology.
