The Lady and the Tiger - Nadrian Fiesta

     Without the slightest hesitation, he kept on his way towards the right door. Every person's eyes were fixed right on the man. He walked slowly, very slowly to the door. He stood there, about 5 feet away. What would be taken away? His life? Or his love? He put his hand on the door as if he was stroking it. Slowly he pushed the door, making the creaking sound that can pierce through one's heart. The door was opened.

     The arena was so quiet it was as if time stopped. The long streak of silence was broken when every person there heard what seemed to be a loud growl. Footsteps were heard throughout the arena. The man saw eyes, eyes so bright it seemed that it was glowing. A leg covered in orange and black stripes appeared as the "Thing" stepped into the light. Step by step, a beast has appeared.
     The beast drew closer, letting everybody see his silhouette. The beast was 8 feet tall and 18 feet wide. The beast stopped right in front of the man accused. It stared at him, as if he was thinking or choosing whether or not to do anything to him. Suddenly the beast growled, starting speeding up towards the man. The man closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh accepting his fate. His eyes shot up to the princess letting her know that he will not blame her. He looked at the beast and let out a deep sigh. The beast looked at him and started to slow down, as if it knew what he was thinking. The beast stopped right in front of the man. The audience gasped. The man and the beast stared at each other. The beast growled, turned to the side and looked at the man again. The beast growled, again and again until the man knew what he was trying to tell him. The man started to mount the beast, he felt as if he knew what the beast was thinking. The beast let out a growl, a growl that had a feel of power. The beast started to run, he ran so fast that the man couldn't see what was going around him, it was just a blur. The beast ran straight towards the king's podium. With just one leap the beast landed on top of the king, staring right into the princess's eyes. The man broke their stare with his hand being held out for the princess to take. The princess took his hand and also mounted the beast. The beast let out another roar, a roar that could be heard around the world. He turned his head to look at the two, they all stared at one another. The beast looked away and started running. When the three of them were far enough from the kingdom, they could see another village not so far away but they knew that this would be good-bye to their friend. With tears streaming down their face they sought off the beast, hand in hand.
