To Kill a Mockingbird - Photo Analysis

My objective in creating such a blog was to find a picture that resembles what I think Maycomb looks like.

Here, in the picture, the first thing that you see is a house. Atticus, himself, isn't really such a rich man and this time period is also located in the Great Depression. So that house, I think, resembles a working man's, a middle-class man's home, in other words, Atticus' home. I also pictured this town as an farming community. Whenever I traveled down South. The house were always so far away from each other. You can relate that to this picture, the houses are also separated when you notice the other houses far away in the background. It's a pretty boring, uninteresting picture but that's what Maycomb is.

Though there are a number of things that aren't in the photo. Things that I wanted. Atticus' house had a backyard, one with oak trees and a treehouse. That wasn't there. I think that, that treehouse is an important part of this story for the reason being that it represents the dynamic trio's everyday activities. That's their, so-called, "base". There are also a number of buildings that aren't shown in this photo, all there really is, is a house and a couple more. That's all. There are some missing.
